Deena Qabazard is a Kuwaiti/American visual artist and yoga teacher. She weaves art, dance and movement to experiment with the physical/mental capabilities of the human body- both its lived experience and its visual representation. Her experience on earth is additionally informed by her longtime devotion and love of the practice of yoga and her cats. Deena currently lives in the Bay Area of California with her cat-alien Medjool.
